# Vanta Integration

Vanta is a system to help your company attain SOC2 and ISO27001 compliance. Its system is integrated with 3rd party applications to feed it with evidence that it can monitor and bring together in 1 dashboard for your auditor.

Aikido can be found on Vanta's app marketplace. You can also start the installation via [this link](https://app.aikido.dev/settings/integrations/compliance/vanta).

The integration moves data in a single direction. Aikido will **sync open dependency issue to Vanta on an hourly basis.** Aikido will copy the correct risk, so Vanta can assign an SLA to each issue. Snoozed issues and (auto-)ignored issues will not be synced to Vanta.

You may verify the integration is set up correctly by logging into Vanta, then clicking 'monitors' and searching for Aikido. Because Aikido is an aggregator of many risk types (dependencies, secrets, SAST,..) it is possible Aikido's findings may overlap with other security integrations. In such cases it is safe to deactivate monitoring for other tools in Vanta to avoid the duplication.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.aikido.dev/~/revisions/SGhJfnCIOpxRjx1gC1k5/iso-27001-and-soc-2-compliance/vanta-compliance-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
